PA /Secretary to Head of Private Client

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly capable and proactive PA/Secretary to provide hands-on support to the Head of Private Client. This role goes beyond traditional secretarial duties and blends elements of personal assistant and case management support. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is exceptionally organised, and can confidently help manage both workload and workflow.

The Role

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support, including audio/digital dictation
  • Actively assist in managing the Head of Private Client’s caseload, deadlines, and priorities
  • Help organise and structure daily tasks, meetings, and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and client communications with accuracy and professionalism
  • Liaise directly with clients, intermediaries, and internal teams, maintaining a high level of discretion
  • Monitor and track progress on client matters, ensuring timely updates and actions
  • Anticipate needs and offer solutions to improve efficiency and organisation

What we’re looking for

  • Previous PA/Secretary experience from a professional services background essential
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Experience with dictation and document production
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
